About Simon Larsson

Simon Larsson, finished his Ph.D. thesis in 2016 in social anthropology at the Department of Global Studies, University of Gothenburg. The dissertation is a historical anthropological thesis on Christian protestant mission and colonialism in Congo between 1881 and 1924. Simon is affiliated with Gothenburg Research Institute and works there in a research project on autonomous and intelligent machines in the automotive industry, as well as a research project that deals with psychosocial consequences of the presence of large predators. Also, Simon also teaches in the course "GS1116 Global Gender Studies: Agency and Structure", "KA1210 Cultural Heritage Management and Regulations", as well as tutoring essays at the Bachelors's level and Master's level.
